Dear friends.

I have the most amazing family and friends. Beyond that really, but I just don't know how to put it into words. The last 14 months of my life have been the hardest I've ever experienced, and the last 2-3 weeks have been the worst of those.

My Mother was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer last February and passed away last Wednesday. Her funeral was today, probably the hardest day of my life. I was truly overwhelmed at the people who came out to help up celebrate her incredible, but far too short life. So many faces from the past, so many people from the present and many more whom have been thinking and praying for her for months. You all mean the world to me. truly.

I don't think I can write much more that that right now, but I wanted to say thank you to all of you out there. I don't know what I'd do without you.

I love you Mom,

Bob

Hey Bob, we don't know each other, but I have been following your blog and your mom's saga for a while now. I am so sorry. I love the pic of you and your mom. I have big roots in MN and this photo takes me back to family times as a kid up near Brainerd, and reminds me of how important family is. Thank you. I am glad you have good family right now. You are in my thoughts.
